Mystery Google Hangouts

Where in the world? We have made connections to other classes outside our town. We have used Pax Write About groups and KidBlog. Mystery Google Hangouts have also been used to "talk" to our connections in real time to determine the state/province and the city of our mystery connections. Where will we "travel" next? Stay tuned!

New Accounts

As you know there are 3 components/parts to our class, Digital Literacy. They are Reading, Keyboarding and Digital Citizenship/Tools.

This weekend, Mrs. W. created student accounts that deal with 2 of these components.
  1. Reading - Biblionasium - Our Online Reading Community - You will use your account to record what books you have finished, share Book Reviews/Recommendations with others and view our Class Reading Challenges.

    Username: firstname.lastINITIAL
    Password: Student ID #
  2. Keyboarding - Typing Club - You will use your account to complete lessons to become a stronger typist.

    Username: firstname.lastname
    Password: Student ID #
Please practice logging into each of these websites with the information described above.  Help our class by practicing the C3B4Me philosophy.  IF you have a question, QUIETLY see at least 3 other students for help. Mrs. W. will be conferencing with individual students. Please do not interrupt these meetings, unless it is an emergency.

Thank you!
